Happy #FashionFriday ! I’ve had lots of reader requests to share my outfit details from my recent France trip, ask and you shall receive;)! One of the most fun parts of planning our travels to the Cote d’Azur aka French Riviera (just FYI saying ‘French Riviera’ in France is sort of liking calling Venison ‘deer meat’;) ) was deciding what to wear. Always up for challenge, everything I wanted to bring needed to fit in my carry on. After a recent luggage snafu I did not want to have to check any bags, and I also wanted to travel as light as possible. That meant mix and matching pieces to fill our 2 week French vacation. From a $10 dress that fit to perfection to a gorgeous red and white knit number to my favorite jumpsuit to ever own, my goal was stylish, comfort.
H&M Breton stripe dress $9.99 – Savoring the walks through the narrow, winding streets of Eze in Breton stripes. These stripes were adapted by the French Navy in 1858 but did not gain fashion popularity until Coco Chanel included them in her 1917 collection making it an iconic part of French style.
Cult Gaia Bag – Easy, chic and a focal point that will conjure compliments from everyone.
Andre Assous Slides – These ended up being my go-to shoes because they were so effortless and comfortable to wear.
House of Harlow Red and White Knit Separates – A body suit paired with tea length know skirt, this outfit with its red and white color combination screamed France and was so comfortable to wear.
Soludos White Canvas Espadrilles – When I wasn’t in my slides I was wearing canvas espadrilles by Soludos. Comfortable with a little height.
Florabella Straw Hat – The BEST straw hat I’ve ever owned.
Vanessa Mooney Double Hoop Earrings $48 Revolve – Gold is my go-to jewelry of choice and I love these earrings from Revolve.
Anthropologie Terra Cotta Pants – Easily the most comfortable pants I have ever owned. This has become my favorite travel day outfit because these pants look put together yet feel so soft against my skin.
Anthropologie White Ruffle Sleeveless Top – The perfect pairing with pants or shorts. I mix and matched this top with both.
Rails Blue Ombre Striped Dress – With Provence in mind, I chose to pack this blue ombre dress by Rails. Again comfort was key and this dress looked great with both sandals and tennis shoes!
Gorjana Earrings – One of my favorite pairs of earrings to ever own, this gold tassel by Gorjana from Revolve is a great addition to almost any outfit.
Eileen Fisher Chartreuse Cover Up – Chartreuse – yes please!!! With bathings suits in white, green, and navy this cover up proved the perfect piece to pair with all 3 colors.
Frankie’s Bikinis White Bikini – A white bathing suit for the French Riviera seemed like a must and this one by Frankie’s Bikinis is cheeky enough to fit right in with the Europeans.
Frankie’s Bikinis White Bikini – A white bathing suit for the French Riviera seemed like a must and this one by Frankie’s Bikinis is cheeky enough to fit right in with the Europeans.
Lovers&Friends Black Crop Top – When in France! With crop tops all the rage, the Riviera seemed like the perfect place to don one.
H&M Black Shorts – Affordable and easy to wear, plus I like the longer length of these shorts.
White Blazer – A white blazer completes this outfit.
Gorjana Earrings – One of my favorite pairs of earrings to ever own, this gold tassel by Gorjana from Revolve is a great addition to almost any outfit.
Astr The Label Mara White Linen Jumpsuit – My favorite jumpsuit of all-time.
